Jennifer Claudio –

My name is Jennifer Claudio, and I am a Holistic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher certified at the E-RYT 500 level.

I have been a student of yoga since 1996, where I discovered that yoga was the most effective way to release tension and bring balance, flexibility and strength to the body and mind.

I have trained in many different styles of yoga including, but not limited to, Hatha, Anusara, Kundalini, Power, Restorative, Ashtanga, Bikram and Yin Yoga.

 

Through the years I have explored different holistic healing modalities, in which I specialized in becoming a Thai Massage Practitioner, Colon Hydro-therapist, Reiki Master, Breathwork Facilitator and a Reflexologist.

 

I created Essential Yoga School to provide individuals the necessary tools to financially support themselves in doing what they love the most; Yoga!

 

In doing so, I discovered these tools also had the ability to enable those students that were interested solely in deepening their practice to better understand the path of yoga. I believe the only way to change our lives is to change how we think.

I live in Central NJ and offer Yoga Teacher Training, Workshops, Retreats, and Consultations.

 

     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My classes incorporate various styles and lineages, creating a flow with music, focusing on breath and the foundation / alignment of postures.

My intention in teaching yoga is to be able to assist others of any age and level to find balance and awareness of the combined physical, mental, and spiritual gifts yoga offers. My wish is to use my presence to guide those in search of a deeper connection to the self in order to realize and expand consciousness.

Openness and acceptance to what has brought me to this place of comfort and security.  The only way to change our lives is to change how we think.

To be mindful means to be aware; human beings experience various degrees of awareness. When we are less aware or less mindful, our ability to learn, change and adapt is limited.

 

Mindfulness approaches (e.g. focused awareness, healthy breathing, mindful movement, and relaxation) strengthen skills of awareness, attention, focus, and concentration through training of the mind.

By changing our inner perception of control, we foster greater mental fitness, emotional intelligence, and physical well-being to relate and respond to life’s moment-to-moment challenges and opportunities.
